Dickinson County Warrant Records Dickinson County Warrant Records

This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to send a question about an official Dickinson County warrant. Most requests belong with the court that issued the warrant or with the sheriff's office, not with us. The routing below sends each kind of question to the office that can actually answer it, so a call or a records request lands in the right place the first time.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, reach the issuing court or the sheriff's office directly.

Most warrant questions in Dickinson County belong to one of a few offices. Match the question to the counter before you dial.

  • Whether a warrant exists: call the court that issued it. The 95B District Court covers misdemeanor, traffic, and ordinance cases at 906-774-0506, and the 41st Circuit Court covers felony and family matters at 906-774-2266.
  • A bench warrant for a missed court date: the judge who holds the case issued it, and that court can say whether it has been recalled. Family support matters run through the Friend of the Court at 906-774-2833.
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: speak with a licensed Michigan attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a voluntary appearance, or bond.
  • An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the issuing court sets the charge and any bond, and an authorized peace officer serves the paper.
  • Custody or booking questions: the Sheriff's Office main line is 906-774-6262, and the jail line is 906-774-6270.
  • County records: the County Clerk/Register of Deeds answers at 906-774-0988 and keeps public hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central.

For a record held at the county level, the two counters most readers need are the Dickinson County Clerk/Register of Deeds at 705 S. Stephenson Avenue in Iron Mountain and the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office at 300 East D Street in Iron Mountain. Call the clerk for court and county records, and call the sheriff for law enforcement records, service questions, and custody.
